🚨 $70M Hack… or an Official “Rescue”?
What happened on the Arbitrum network after the KelpDAO exploit has opened a serious debate 👇
Funds were frozen ✔️
Then moved to a new wallet ✔️
And cannot be accessed without a later decision ❗
In short:
The hacker stole the funds… but the network itself stepped in and effectively took control of them.
⚖️ The real question is:
If a network can freeze, move, and control funds…
Where does decentralization actually stand?
Is this: 🟢 A legitimate protection of user assets?
🔴 Or “hidden centralization” under a technical layer?
What happened might be seen as a rescue today…
but it could also set a dangerous precedent for the future 👀
💬 What do you think: protection or controlled seizure?
