Someone recently almost lost 100 USDT due to a very smart P2P scam attempt.

Here’s what happened:

A buyer on Binance placed a $100 order, marked it as paid, and only sent a transaction reference. Since the payment notification appeared and the sender name matched, the crypto was released.

A few minutes later, another buyer on a different P2P platform placed a similar order and marked it as paid WITHOUT actually sending any money. During the dispute, he used the SAME payment screenshot/reference from the earlier Binance transaction to fake proof of payment.

Luckily, the seller had the original Binance order details and won the dispute.

⚠️ Important Safety Tips:

✅ Never release crypto without confirming payment in your bank/app

✅ Always verify funds directly, not just screenshots

✅ Avoid third-party or indirect payments

✅ Be extra careful with repeated or matching reference claims

✅ Keep proper transaction records as proof

Stay alert — P2P scams are becoming more advanced every day. 🔐
