The President of the United States buys stocks.
Then, a few days later, he publicly starts praising the same companies.
And when some of those trades are filed late?
The punishment is basically a joke.
Just $200.
According to Trump’s latest disclosures, he made more than 3,600 trades, worth somewhere between $220 million and $750 million.
Now look at the timing, because this is where it gets crazy.
On February 10, Trump bought between $1 million and $5 million worth of $Dell stock.
Just nine days later, he told Americans:
“Go out and buy a Dell computer.”
Then he kept praising Dell again and again on February 27, March 9, April 16, and May 8.
And what happened after that?
$DELL exploded to record highs and is now up around 140% this year.
Then comes Apple.
On March 11, Trump bought between $250,000 and $500,000 worth of Apple stock.
That same day, he publicly praised Apple and talked about its massive US investment plans.
By the end of March, his Apple position had reportedly grown to as much as $7.2 million.
Then there is Micron.
On March 25, Trump bought between $50,000 and $100,000 worth of Micron stock.
The very next day, he went on national TV and called Micron:
“One of the hottest companies.”
Later, his Micron position reached as much as $530,000.
And $MU is up nearly 200% since then.
Now his team says independent advisers manage the portfolio and Trump does not personally direct the trades.
Okay.
But then explain this.
How do these “independent advisers” keep magically buying the same companies that the President publicly praises just days later?
Once can be luck.
Twice can be coincidence.
But this many times?
Come on.
This is not a free market.
This is a rigged casino where the people in power get the cheat codes, and normal people are told to clap while they get left behind.
