The numbers already told the story:
→ 100 names own ~71% of the S&P 500
→ The top 10 alone hold ~38%
→ In 2023, 100% of S&P 500 earnings growth came from 7 stocks
The benchmark is reshaping around the names at the top. The S&P 100 owns those names directly, without the 400 names of decoration.
