I still remember the early DeFi days when everyone was chasing the next big yield. Back then, I rarely stopped to think about the infrastructure behind it all. Like many others, I was focused on the opportunity, not what was happening under the surface.
Lately, AI has been giving me that same feeling.
We use these powerful models every day, but most of the time we have no idea how they process information, what happens to our data, or how reliable the outputs really are. We just trust the system and move on.
That’s one reason OpenGradient caught my attention.
I spent some time exploring OpenGradient Chat, and what stood out wasn't flashy features or hype. It was the idea that AI shouldn't be a black box. Being able to verify how models are executed and having more transparency around the process feels like a step in the right direction.
After watching so many narratives come and go in crypto, I've learned that the projects that matter most are usually the ones building real infrastructure. OpenGradient seems focused on creating an open and decentralized foundation for AI rather than just following the latest trend.
Still early, but definitely something I'm keeping an eye on.
