No person or group can decide this for everyone else. This is highlighted by the fact that there are so many groups claiming different "GCV" values.
Perhaps these people do not realize what the "Global Consensus" part of "GCV" actually means.
The value of Pi will evolve organically over time as people trade it for goods and services."

"The buyer and seller of goods/services agree on the Pi value of said goods/services on a case-by-case basis at the point of trade.
This needs to be done without the platform tying a value to any other currency. In this "equation" have no interest in the value of other currencies or the tying of Pi to a the value of a currency.
The value of the item/service in terms of Pi is what is to be determined. In short - what you are doing is wrong! "

Ihatejam (CT) " Guys - Please stop dictating Pi valuations and masquerading it as a global consensus value for others to follow. The value of Pi will develop organically over time - It's as simple as that.

During a trade, pioneers can decide what the item/service is worth to them in terms of a Pi value at that time, they may even negotiate and then "reach a consensus" for the transaction.

Absolutely NOBODY can dictate the value of Pi and force others to adopt that value - If pioneers don't agree with the Pi value for the service/transactions they wish to buy/sell, they are free to make the deal elsewhere.
