One of the strange things about automated work networks is that the rules rarely change when the system begins drifting.

The next cycle made the pattern slightly stronger.
That’s when it became clear that the system wasn’t just distributing work.
It was training behavior.
Dispatch layers do something subtle in automated networks. They don’t just route tasks. They determine who gets repeated exposure to the safest work.
And once that loop starts reinforcing itself, advantage compounds.
Operators improve infrastructure. Workflows adapt. Monitoring becomes tighter. Over time the participants who already sit near the top of the queue begin operating inside a slightly safer version of the system than everyone else.
No one needs to cheat for this to happen.
It’s simply the natural outcome of allocation signals becoming legible.
I’ve seen the same pattern show up in logistics routing systems, distributed compute markets, and automated marketplaces. The rules stay the same, but the queue begins shaping how people compete.
That’s the lens I’m using when I think about Fabric.
If robots are submitting work and earning $ROBO for verified outcomes, the most interesting part of the system isn’t just whether verification works correctly.
It’s how dispatch distributes opportunity across the network.
Verification proves the work happened.
Dispatch decides who repeatedly gets the chance to perform the work that pays well.
If that allocation surface stays balanced under load, the network behaves like infrastructure. Operators compete on execution and reliability.
But if allocation advantage compounds too quickly, the system slowly teaches a smaller tier of participants how to dominate the safest workflows.
Decentralization doesn’t disappear when that happens.
It just becomes uneven.
So the signal I’ll be watching as Fabric grows isn’t just throughput or verification success.
It’s the distribution pattern inside the queue.
Because fairness in automated work networks rarely shows up in the rules.
It shows up in how opportunity moves through the system over time.
