Instead, it tries to act as a layer that other systems can integrate with. I tend to trust that approach more because it acknowledges how complex existing systems are. It’s easier to adopt something that enhances what already exists than something that demands a full reset.

If I think about where this could lead, I imagine a future where I don’t have to constantly negotiate between convenience and privacy. I could prove what I need to prove without giving away more than necessary. Systems could interact with each other through credentials rather than raw data. Token distribution could become more intentional and less chaotic. These changes wouldn’t be dramatic on the surface, but they would reshape how digital interactions feel over time.
