One of the biggest issues with @Aster_DEX and ASTER wasn’t the product , it was the tokenomics. High inflation made users hesitate to engage, since rewards like airdrops and incentives were constantly being diluted. Builders also became cautious when considering developing on Aster Layer 1.

And this is what I respect: the team addressed the problem directly.

Instead of unlocking ~1% of total supply monthly for the ecosystem, Aster has shifted to a staking-based emission model. That means only users who actually commit capital and lock value will receive rewards.

So what changed?

Token emissions dropped by ~97%, from around 78.4M ASTER to just 1.8–2.5M. This isn’t just a number , it’s a reset in market confidence. Sell pressure is significantly reduced, while incentives are now aligned with long-term participants.

More importantly, all tokens allocated to Ecosystem & Community since TGE remain unchanged. No rule changes, no dilution tricks.

honestly I’m still holding ASTER for a few clear reasons:

First, early backing from @cz_binance and the Binance ecosystem ,not everything, but definitely a strong signal for long-term direction.

Second, the team isn’t dumping tokens. If you look at the chart, price has stayed relatively stable even during volatile $BTC periods. That says a lot about internal sell pressure.

Third, the narrative is still strong. Perp DEX is far from over, and @HyperliquidX is leading the trend. The gap between ASTER and $HYPE is still massive and that gap represents upside potential.

Fourth, improved tokenomics:

Long-term staking reduces circulating supply

Buyback from revenue creates real demand

ASTER is used as the core transaction fee on Aster Layer 1

Overall, this isn’t a short-term pump setup — it’s a structural adjustment for long-term sustainability.

One thing I always look for when tracking projects: does the team sell their tokens? If they don’t, it usually means they still believe in what they’re building.

Projects currently on my watchlist:

$CC $MON $ZRO $ZEC $OKB $ASTER $AZTEC

This is just my personal perspective, not financial advice. But if you’re looking for projects making real internal changes, $ASTER is worth watching again.
