Singapore signed #AI deals with Google and OpenAI

#OpenAI is committing $234M and opening its first overseas AI lab in Singapore, 200+ hires, focused on education, healthcare, finance, and public services.

#Google didn't drop a number but is going deep on agentic AI, training government researchers, working with the Ministry of Education, and co-developing an AI co-clinician program in healthcare.

On top of this, Singapore has already locked in AWS, Microsoft, and Google DeepMind as part of its $750M+ national AI strategy running through 2030.

Singapore is quietly becoming one of the most reliable places to *deploy* AI with neutral ground, strong talent, and government backing.
