Alot of AI projects in crypto are getting attention rn, but honestly most of them still feel very surface-level.

Usually it’s:

- a chatbot

- a dashboard

- some AI branding

- and alot of marketing

But the deeper infrastructure side of AI in crypto feels way more interesting to me.

Because if AI agents actually become useful later, they’ll need real systems underneath:

- on-chain execution

- automation

- liquidity access

- cross-chain connectivity

- reliable infrastructure layers

That’s partly why @OpenLedger started catching my attention recently.

At first I thought updates like OctoClaw, Trading Agents, #ERC4626 integration and EVM Bridge were all seperate things. But after following the ecosystem more closely, it started feeling like they’re building different parts of a larger long-term infrastructure stack.

Especially the Trading Agent narrative.

I think autonomous finance could become much bigger than people realize later on. Imagine AI systems eventually helping users:

- optimize yield

- manage positions

- automate execution

- monitor risks

- interact across chains

without needing constant manual actions everyday.

If crypto moves toward that direction, infrastructure projects may actually end up capturing more value than the “AI wrapper” layer most people focus on rn.

Another thing I noticed is @OpenLedger seems more focused on builders and ecosystem development compared to alot of projects only chasing short term hype. Even the vibecoding/dev related updates point more toward long-term utility and infrastructure building.

Of course its still early and there’s still risk like every crypto project. But compared to many AI narratives rn, this atleast feels connected to real utility instead of temporary engagement farming.

Maybe the biggest AI opportunity in crypto wont be the loudest projects.

Maybe it’ll be the infrastructure quietly powering everything underneath 👀
