I think the fact that DCR futures have disappeared from major exchanges is a huge advantage for long-term holders.

This is because it meant that they could short the futures and then dump the spot DCR, lowering the price with almost no cost.

Shorters are now repeatedly borrowing the spot high and selling it low without hedging.

They'll eventually have to buy it back and pay interest, so I think they're really cornered.
