Total loss: ~32% of portfolio.

Put 15% of portfolio into BTC at $72K with a stop at $69K.
BTC dropped, stop triggered.
Lost 4% on 15% of portfolio.
Total loss: 0.6% of portfolio.
Ready to re-enter with dry powder.

Same thesis.

Why? Position size.

Here are the rules I follow without exception:
📏 Rule of 2%: Never risk more than 2% of total portfolio on a single trade
📏 Rule of 10%: Never allocate more than 10-15% of portfolio to a single position
📏 Rule of 3: In uncertain macro environments, cut all position sizes by ⅓
📏 The war rule: During active geopolitical conflicts, reduce total market exposure to 50-60% max

These aren't "nice to have" guidelines. These are survival rules.

The market will always give you another opportunity to enter. It will NOT give you another opportunity if you've blown your account.

not a typo. one hundred thousand dollars. one hundred and thirty five.

AMC ran 3500% in 160 days. Reddit lost its mind. people were quitting jobs over this. posting screenshots, calling their relatives, acting like they'd figured something out that everyone else missed. i get it. it looked real.

then it stopped.
