🚨 FIA Issues Public Warning Against Fake Calls

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Pakistan has issued an urgent alert for citizens in Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore. Criminals are impersonating FIA officials, calling people and falsely claiming they are being charged under the Cybercrime Act or Terrorism laws.

These fraudsters demand victims either report to FIA offices or click on malicious links to provide personal details. In some cases, they even send fake FIR copies via WhatsApp using victims’ real names to make the scam appear genuine.

❌ Do not share personal details

❌ Do not meet these callers at home, office, or elsewhere

❌ Do not respond to their instructions

The FIA stresses that it never issues arrests via phone calls or WhatsApp. Citizens are urged to remain vigilant and share this warning with family and friends to prevent further fraud.
