Он уточнил, что в ходе последнего размещения облигаций на сумму 1,7 млрд долларов США, проведённого в мае 2025 года, не участвовал ни один российский инвестор. При этом Дуров отметил, что ранее выпущенные в 2021 году облигации в подавляющем большинстве уже погашены и не оказывают существенного влияния на текущее финансовое положение компании.
Отдельно предприниматель обратил внимание на то, что владельцы облигаций Telegram не обладают статусом акционеров и не имеют права участвовать в управлении мессенджером или влиять на стратегические решения. Он подчеркнул, что единственным акционером и конечным владельцем компании остаётся он сам, что обеспечивает полную независимость Telegram при принятии ключевых решений.
