Binance Introduces Spot Price Range Execution Rule (PRER)

To prevent user orders from being executed at abnormal prices under extreme market conditions, Binance is introducing a feature that allows order execution only within a dynamic price range. Starting on 2026-04-14, the Spot Price Range Execution Rule (PRER) will be gradually introduced to help ensure trading occurs at prices that reflect a fair and orderly market.
This mechanism restricts orders to execute only against liquidity priced within these ranges, preventing executions when prices deviate significantly due to abnormal activity. Under normal market prices, this mechanism will not affect daily transactions.
Key Features of the Spot Price Range Execution Rule
All order types that act as a taker with execution price outside of the specified price range will expire.Protects the market from large, rapid price movements.Maintains fair and orderly market conditions during periods of unusual volatility.
