Tehran (Dunya News): Iran’s Supreme National Security Council has appointed "Saeed Jalili" as the temporary secretary following the martyrdom of "Ali Larijani".
According to a statement issued by the Supreme National Security Council "Ali Larijani" with his son and his aides were martyred in an Israeli attack. They were shifted to a hospital in Tehran where they succumbed to their injuries at around 3 a.m.
"Ali Larijani" had nominated former Supreme Leader "Ayatollah Ali Khamenei". Previously, "Saeed Jalili" had also been a member of the National Security Council.
There is a possibility that "Saeed Jalili" may temporarily take over "Ali Larijani’s" responsibilities as Supreme Leader "Mojtaba Khamenei" has not yet appointed a permanent representative to the council.
