Binance Coin (BNB) is the native cryptocurrency of the Binance exchange, one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world. BNB was created in 2017 and initially ran on the Ethereum blockchain. In 2019, Binance launched its own blockchain, Binance Smart Chain (BSC), and migrated BNB to it. BNB can be used to pay for trading fees on the Binance exchange, and it also has other use cases, such as booking travel accommodations and purchasing virtual gifts.
