The U.S. House has designated the week of July 14 as “Crypto Week,” during which it will consider three major bills: the GENIUS Act (stablecoin framework, 1:1 reserves, dual licensing) passed by the Senate June 17; the CLARITY Act (defining SEC/CFTC roles in crypto market oversight); and the Anti‑CBDC Surveillance State Act (banning a Fed-issued central-bank digital currency) . Complementing these, on July 16, the House Ways & Means Committee will hold hearings on crypto tax policy .

This coordinated legislative push aims to provide regulatory clarity, protect against a U.S. CBDC, and shape the nation’s stablecoin and tax frameworks during a critical policy window.
