Bitcoin historical prices between bottom and ATH:
2011 cycle (ATH: $29–$32 → bottom: $2): 93% drop
2013–2015 (ATH: $1,150–$1,200 → bottom: $170–$200): 87% drop
2017–2018 (ATH: $19,800 → bottom: $3,200): 84% drop
2021–2022 (ATH: $69,000 → bottom ~$15,500–$16,000): 78% drop
We have recently witnessed a new ATH of $126k in 2025. Based on historical patterns, an 80% correction from this level would bring $BTC to a bottom somewhere in the $25k–$30k range.
Historically, the bottom tends to form roughly 1 year after the last ATH — which means we are most likely not at the bottom yet.
A bounce from current levels cannot be ruled out completely, but don't mistake it for a trend reversal.
