🚨 Ethereum Foundation just made a BIG move.

They’ve started staking their treasury ETH — planning to stake around 70,000 ETH in total.

First deposit already done: 2,016 ETH on Feb 24.

Instead of selling ETH to fund operations…

they’re now earning staking yield (~2.8% annually) to support R&D, grants, and ecosystem growth.

Basically:

Less selling pressure.

More long-term strategy.

They’re also using distributed validator tools to reduce single-point risks — so this isn’t random staking, it’s structured.

Some people say: 👉 This reduces liquid ETH supply.

👉 Strengthens proof-of-stake security.

👉 Shows confidence in Ethereum long term.

But here’s what I’m thinking…

If the Foundation stops selling and starts staking instead —

is this quietly bullish for ETH price?

Or does 70,000 ETH not really matter in the bigger picture?

Curious what you guys think 👇

Bullish move or neutral news?
