Sales of $TSLA in Europe have declined for the 13th consecutive month.

In January 2026, Tesla’s registrations in Europe fell 17% year over year to 8,075 vehicles (vs. 9,733 a year earlier).

▪️ Market share dropped from roughly 1.0% to 0.8%

▪️ Meanwhile, the overall battery electric vehicle (BEV) market grew by about 14%

The main beneficiary is BYD:

+165% growth, reaching 18,242 vehicles for the month more than double Tesla’s volume.

In short, the European EV segment continues to expand, but Tesla is gradually losing ground amid intensifying competition and aggressive model line updates from rivals.
