Brad Garlinghouse’s at Sydney keynote shared that a "senior official" at the White House recently told him, "Sorry, I was wrong."
While many are pointing at the former SEC Chair, there’s a major hole in that theory: Why would Gensler be at a high-level briefing in the current Republican White House? 😱
A much more logical candidate? Jay Clayton. As a former Trump appointee who has recently softened his stance on "regulation by enforcement," Clayton fits the guest list far better than his successor. An apology from the man who actually started the lawsuit would be the ultimate full-circle moment for the XRP Ledger ↩️📢
