What changed my mind on projects like this was not better demos. It was watching how quickly responsibility disappears once a machine is involved. A robot makes a bad decision, an agent acts on stale data, a system crosses an institutional boundary, and suddenly nobody is fully accountable. The operator blames the vendor, the vendor blames the model, the regulator arrives late, and the user is left dealing with the consequence.
That is the real problem. Not intelligence, not hardware, not even autonomy in the abstract. Coordination. Most existing approaches feel incomplete because they treat robotics as a product category when it behaves more like public infrastructure. The machine is only one piece. The harder question is how decisions are recorded, permissions enforced, costs settled, and failures traced across builders, operators, insurers, and public rules.

Not because it promises a robotic future, but because it assumes the future will be messy, disputed, and expensive unless the underlying coordination layer is built properly. A public, verifiable system for handling data, computation, and regulation is not glamorous, but that may be the point.
The likely users are institutions before individuals: manufacturers, logistics firms, municipalities, and developers working in regulated environments. It works if it lowers ambiguity and operational friction. It fails if it adds governance overhead without creating real trust, clear liability, or usable economics.
