When people discuss Midnight, are they thinking deeply enough about transparency itself, or are they still treating visibility as an unquestioned good?
If a blockchain only reveals what trust truly requires, does that make it less transparent, or more disciplined?
Where should the boundary sit between public state and hidden logic, and who gets to decide that boundary?
And if selective disclosure becomes part of governance or compliance design, can it protect users without quietly creating uneven pressure to reveal?
That is the part of Midnight I keep returning to: not privacy instead of transparency, but transparency with sharper limits.
