Scams in Binance Live Broadcast (Red Box / Red Packet)
Hey from Pejë! 🚀
This is Selim – I recently joined some Binance Square/Live broadcasts to try the Red Box feature (red packets with USDT or SOL).
What I actually saw:
- Some SOL drops (e.g. 0.0111 SOL or 0.014 SOL) were real – they come straight from the host's wallet and if you're quick enough, you can claim them. But in rooms with 16K+ listeners, they get claimed in seconds.
- Most of the 1 USDT "Best Wishes!" packets (from names like Alonmmusk, AFRA, leoBaoBo, etc.) were empty / manipulated / fake:
- They get fully claimed instantly ("Oooops! fully claimed").
- Claimed by bots, multi-accounts of the host, or paid collaborators.
- Purpose: Create FOMO (illusion that "lots of free money is being given") so people stay in the live longer.
Why do they do this?
The host (and his partner) don't lose money giving away tiny 1 USDT – they earn big commissions from Binance (up to 50% of trading fees from listeners). The more people stay in the live, watch charts, listen to "signals" or start trading, the more money the host makes automatically.
Binance is a well-known global platform, but some hosts abuse this feature to manipulate the audience and profit from your activity (not from the tiny packets).
My advice:
- Don't waste time in lives with thousands of listeners – real value is rare.
- Try smaller lives (under 1K listeners) – better chances.
- Focus on official rewards: airdrops, Earn, or your recurring buys.
