Crypto Bill Moves Closer as Talks Progress

U. S. Senator Tim Scott remarks that the crypto market structure bill which was hitherto stalled is now on the verge of making progress as the talks went on a rampage. Secret talks have been going on for weeks.

He told that the new version, especially on stablecoin regulations, is possibly coming out this week. This is one of the most contentious matters in the bill.

Besides stablecoin rules, lawmakers are also addressing various other issues including regulations for DeFi, anti-money laundering rules, and use of crypto for political purposes.

Scott acknowledged that the problems are still quite serious and there are quite a few that need to be addressed, however the negotiations are very near the agreement.

Right after the draft sees the light of day, it could turn out to be a significant advancement in bringing crypto regulations in the U.S. to an understandable level.
