PRIVACY ALONE IS NOT ENOUGH ANYMORE IN WEB3

I’ve been seeing a lot of discussion around privacy lately, especially with projects like Midnight. But the more I think about it, the more I feel privacy alone is not the real solution.

If a system hides everything, it also removes accountability. And if everything is transparent, it removes user protection. The real challenge is not choosing one side, it’s balancing both.

That’s why Midnight’s approach feels different to me. It’s not trying to hide everything. It’s trying to let you prove something without revealing the data behind it.

That shift changes how I look at privacy in Web3.

What matters more to you: privacy or verifiability?
