Midnight just made a move that surprised me.
They paused SPO onboarding. Temporarily.
Over 180 Cardano SPOs were ready. But instead of rushing, Midnight is keeping the federated phase stable for mainnet. Then bringing SPOs in for Mōhalu (Q2).
Why? They're moving away from Docker-only distribution. Adding pre-compiled binaries. Removing the registration wizard. Making it scriptable.
This isn't a delay. It's doing it right.
