I keep thinking about timing.
Not whether $SIGN works…
but whether it’s arriving at the right moment.
Because some things don’t fail
because they’re wrong.
They fail because nothing around them
is ready yet.
Right now, most systems still operate fine
with loose verification.
Not perfect.
But good enough.
Which means there’s no real pressure
to change anything.
And without pressure,
adoption moves slowly.
That’s what makes this hard to read.
The idea behind $SIGN,feels solid.
But the environment around it
doesn’t feel demanding enough yet.
No urgency.
No clear breaking point.
So it sits in this strange position.
Technically useful.
But not required.
Maybe that changes later.
Maybe timing catches up.
Or maybe it stays slightly ahead
of what the ecosystem actually needs.
I’m not sure yet.
