Led by John Carreyrou, it highlights Back’s early ideas on decentralization and digital scarcity. His invention Hashcash, cited in Bitcoin, strengthens the theory. However, Back denies the claim, and other suspects like Nick Szabo and Hal Finney remain in speculation.
