I’ve been checking out @Pixels lately, and honestly, it feels like one of those projects that got a lot of early hype but is now struggling to keep the same energy. had a strong launch, and the idea of combining gaming with blockchain always sounds exciting. But when you actually look at the activity, it doesn’t feel as active as people expected.
The biggest issue for me is retention. A lot of players try it once, but how many actually stay? That’s where most Web3 games fail, and @Pixels doesn’t fully convince me yet that it has solved that problem. The gameplay loop still feels a bit repetitive, and rewards alone aren’t enough to keep users long-term.
Also, the value of $PIXEL seems heavily tied to hype cycles. When attention drops, so does interest. Until there’s a stronger reason for players to keep coming back beyond earning, it’s hard to see sustainable growth.
Not saying it won’t improve, but right now it feels like it needs more depth and real engagement.
