Some apps I open out of habit, not because I expect anything new. Pixels feels like that—calm, familiar, easy to return to.
It’s a simple farming world on the surface, but underneath it still runs on the same play-to-earn structure we’ve seen many times before. It feels more grounded than most, maybe even more self-aware, but the core challenge hasn’t changed.
Can it stay a world people enjoy, or will it become just another system people use and leave?
It’s not hype anymore, but it hasn’t fully proven itself either.
I’m still watching.
