Payward to acquire Bitnomial in $550M deal

#Kraken 's parent company #Payward has agreed to acquire derivatives exchange #Bitnomial in a deal valued at up to $550M in cash and stock.

The acquisition gives Payward access to a fully licensed U.S. derivatives infrastructure, supporting its expansion in regulated markets. The combined platform is expected to offer products such as futures and options under regulatory oversight.
