Can AI replace RSI? I tried it… and the answer wasn’t what I expected

Until now, my trading routine was almost automatic:

👉 Open chart → turn on RSI → find overbought/oversold → enter trade

Simple, familiar, and… sometimes quite effective.

But since using Binance AI Pro, I started asking myself:

“If AI already analyzes the market, do I still need RSI?”

🧠 So I tried trading without RSI on a few setups

Instead of looking at indicators, I asked AI:

What’s the current trend?

Is the market strong or weak?

Should I enter a trade right now?

👉 The AI gave pretty detailed answers:

Not just saying overbought/oversold

But explaining why the market is behaving that way

⚖️ And here’s what I realized

RSI:

Fast

Easy to use

But only reflects past price action

AI:

Slightly slower (a few seconds 😅)

But sees the bigger picture:

sentiment

news

market context

👉 Simply put:

RSI gives you a “signal”

AI gives you the “story behind the signal”

💡 But AI does NOT completely replace RSI

There are times when:

RSI shows oversold → I see an opportunity

AI says: “not yet, the trend is still weak”

👉 If I only listen to AI, I might miss a great trade

👉 If I only follow RSI, I might catch a falling knife

📌 How I use it now

I don’t choose one over the other anymore.

👉 Here’s my approach:

Use RSI to find entry points

Use AI to confirm whether I should enter or not

🔥 This combo helps me:

Avoid more dumb trades

And stop being “blindly indicator-driven”

❓ What about you?

Team indicator (RSI, MACD…)?

Or starting to use AI for analysis?

Or has anyone ditched indicators completely? 😄
