The loops are clean: farming and gathering spit out base resources, crafting converts them into higher-tier goods, and those goods either get consumed or sold. But what stands out is how much the game leans on friction to keep that loop from collapsing. Energy gating and tool tiers are basically supply governance. Without them, the market would saturate instantly.
2. Token Flow Dynamics & The "Sink" Problem 💧
Emissions give the system its heartbeat, but they are also a constant inflation vector. I’m trying to distinguish between:
Intrinsic Sinks: Spending because the game is fun.
Extractive Sinks: Spending only to improve earning rates.
The second one worries me. If spending is only about yield optimization, the moment yields drop, the spending shuts off and sell pressure stays on.
