Pixels (PIXEL) has been one of those quiet surprises for me in Web3.
I didn’t go in expecting much. It looked simple almost like a basic farming game you’d try once and forget. But after spending some time in Pixels I started to notice something different it doesn’t push the earn narrative in your face all the time.
You just play.
And somehow that makes the whole experience feel more natural compared to most crypto games where everything revolves around rewards and optimization.
I’m still not fully convinced about its lonerm sustainability especially with how token dynamics usually play out but for now it feels like a more relaxed approach to Web3 gaming.
Maybe that’s the real experiment here: turning time into value without constantly reminding you about it.
