The American Petroleum Institute (API) reported an increase in U.S. gasoline inventories for the week ending May 8. According to Jin10, the gasoline stockpiles rose by 502,000 barrels. This figure contrasts with the expected decrease of 2.549 million barrels and the previous week's decline of 6.107 million barrels.
