The YGG token is the native governance and utility token of Yield Guild Games (YGG), a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) that invests in non-fungible tokens (NFTs) used in blockchain-based, play-to-earn (P2E) games.
Its primary purpose is to grant holders governance rights, allowing them to vote on key DAO decisions. Additionally, YGG tokens can be staked to earn rewards from the guild's activities and provide access to exclusive content, events, and their NFT scholarship programs. YGG aims to lower the barrier to entry for P2E gaming by renting out its collective NFT assets to players globally.
