Crypto keeps pretending wallets are the UX layer when they are really just keychains.

Nobody normal wants to think about seed phrases, gas tokens, bridges, wallet switching, approvals, or which chain their assets accidentally live on. Most people just want an app that works.

That’s why Genius feels interesting to me. The whole idea is abstracting away chain complexity instead of forcing users to become part time infrastructure engineers. Smart routing, crosschain execution, simplified swaps, unified balances, cleaner onboarding. Chains become backend settlement layers, not the product itself.

Feels obvious tbh. The next wave probably won’t come from better wallets. It will come from apps where users barely notice crypto underneath.
