One thing I think BTCFi users are becoming more aware of is that yield itself is no longer the full story.
A few months ago, attention mostly flowed toward the highest APY.
Now the questions seem more interesting.
Where does the yield come from?
Is it generated by real activity?
Is it supported by sustainable demand?
Or is it mostly driven by temporary incentives?
That shift feels important because not all yield is created the same way.
As BTCFi grows, transparency may become just as valuable as returns.
Bitcoin holders entering these systems are increasingly trying to understand the structure behind the opportunity, not just the number displayed on the screen.
And over time, that could change how protocols compete.
Not just on yield.
But on credibility.
Still early, but definitely a trend worth watching.
Do you think yield transparency will become a major factor in BTCFi adoption over the next cycle?
