Two days ago, SpaceX did something that's never happened before — it went public, and by the closing bell, the company was worth over $2.1 trillion. That's not the IPO target. That's where it actually landed, after shares jumped 19% on day one.

For context: that valuation just pushed SpaceX past Tesla to become the sixth most valuable company in the entire US stock market. And depending on how you count his stakes across SpaceX and Tesla, Musk is now looking at trillionaire territory — something literally no one has hit before.

Whatever you think of the guy personally, it's hard to argue with the track record. Reusable rockets, the biggest EV company on the planet, satellite internet that's now profitable, and an AI division thrown into the mix for good measure. Love him or hate him, few people have shaped this many industries at once.
