@OpenGradient I notice how people celebrate AI breakthroughs but rarely ask who controls the infrastructure underneath?
That question kept sitting in the back of my mind while I was reading about OpenGradient.
From what I understand, it’s building “decentralized infrastructure” for AI, allowing models to be hosted, verified, and used across an open network rather than depending on a single provider. That’s where the Web3 angle starts making sense to me.
I think OpenGradient’s focus on open access and credible neutrality is the most interesting part. If intelligence becomes a public utility, access shouldn’t depend on the preferences of a few centralized platforms.
Of course, decentralization doesn’t magically remove every problem. Coordination and security are still difficult. But I’d rather see those challenges faced openly than hidden behind closed systems.
