🔴Foreign investors are abandoning South Korean equities at a record pace:
Investors from overseas have dumped ~$80 billion worth of South Korean equities so far in 2026.
Domestic retail investors have absorbed much of the foreign selling, with cumulative net purchases reaching ~$49.6 billion, year-to-date.
Meanwhile, despite a record trade surplus and a surging equity market, the Korean won has weakened -4.8% against the US Dollar this year, reflecting the scale of foreign capital outflows.
The more the South Korean bubble inflates, the more foreigners are dumping it.
