Rodney Burton pleaded guilty in federal court to participating in a HyperFund cryptocurrency fraud scheme involving approximately $1.8 billion.

According to NS3.AI, federal prosecutors in Maryland said Burton profited approximately $7.85 million from promoting the Ponzi-structured project between June 2020 and January 2022.
