#BTCVSGOLD Bitcoin is outperforming gold in 2025, with Bitcoin ETPs (Exchange-Traded Products) attracting nearly $50 billion in inflows, surpassing gold ETPs' $43 billion. This shift indicates institutional investors are increasingly viewing Bitcoin as a viable alternative to traditional safe-havens like gold. In fact, BlackRock's IBIT has drawn over $25 billion in inflows, outpacing gold ETFs. However, some experts, like Jurien Timmer, Director of Global Macro at Fidelity, warn of a potential year-long crypto winter, citing Bitcoin's four-year cycle and current oversold levels against gold.

Gold, on the other hand, has had a strong year, up 65% year-to-date, and is behaving like a bull market asset. Tether's significant gold purchases have also been notable, with the company holding 116 tonnes of gold, making it one of the largest holders outside central banks.
