Just spotted this on Odaily – quick heads up for anyone trading over the holidays.
US stocks close early tomorrow (Christmas Eve) at 1 PM ET, which is 02:00 UTC+8 on Dec 25. Fully closed on Christmas Day (Dec 25).
CME futures (metals, energy, forex, indexes) and ICE Brent crude are also finishing early today.
Plus, Trump signed an executive order giving federal employees off Dec 24-26, so EIA delayed their weekly reports:
Crude oil inventory → now Dec 29 at 23:30 UTC+8
Natural gas → Dec 30 at 01:00 UTC+8
Volume's already thin today, tomorrow will be dead. Best time to step away from the screens.
