Walrus and the Quiet Side of Web3
Not every meaningful crypto project trends on social media
Walrus feels like one of those quieter infrastructure plays that operates mostly in the background @Walrus 🦭/acc
Infrastructure projects rarely get instant recognition because their value becomes clear only when other applications start relying on them
Storage protocols, in particular, tend to grow alongside ecosystems rather than independently
Walrus fits neatly into this category. It is not trying to compete with DeFi platforms or meme tokens
instead it focuses on solving a technical problem storing large data objects securely and efficiently in a decentralized environment
I think it’s healthy to occasionally step away from noise driven narratives and look at projects that aim to strengthen the foundations of Web3
Whether Walrus succeeds or not will depend on execution and adoption, but the problem it addresses is real $WAL
