According to PANews, Qiangnao Technology, one of the 'Six Little Dragons' of Hangzhou, has completed a significant financing round of approximately 20 billion yuan. This marks the second-largest funding in the brain-computer interface sector globally, following Elon Musk's Neuralink. A representative from Qiangnao Technology confirmed the completion of the funding, stating that the capital will be used to accelerate the development of core brain-computer interface technologies, achieve engineering breakthroughs, and scale up production.
The company aims to assist one million individuals with physical disabilities in the next five to ten years by enabling them to regain daily functionality and reintegrate into society through the use of neuro-controlled prosthetics. Additionally, Qiangnao Technology seeks to improve the lives of ten million patients suffering from neurological conditions such as autism, ADHD, Alzheimer's disease, and insomnia. The company also envisions a future where ordinary people can interact directly with the world through brain-computer interface devices, reshaping the integration of humans and machines.
