Part of Walrus that gets less attention is cross-chain support. While it’s built on Sui, the protocol is designed so data can come from other chains like Ethereum or Solana to be stored in Walrus. This means developers aren’t limited to one ecosystem they can build apps that store data from anywhere and still rely on Walrus’s decentralized storage guarantees.
